A joint paper by Mehdi Naderi Soorki, Dr. Manshaei, Prof. Hossein Saidi, and Dr. Walid Saad from Virginia Tech., with the title "Social Community-Aware Content Placement in Wireless Device-to-Device Communication Networks" has been accepted to the IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing.

A high-ranking delegation from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) headed by professor Patrick Aebischer, President of EPFL, visited IUT on Wednesday, October 14th, 2015. Dr. Manshaei, previously a senior researcher in LCA1 group at EPFL, was part of the IUT's reception committee that welcomed the EPFL delegation. The two delegates met in IUT's International & Scientific Cooperation Office bureau and discuss future academic collaborations.

A joint paper by GTMD members Sara Ranjbaran, Dr. Mansahei, and  Dr. Michele Nitti from the University of Cagliari, titled "A Social-Aware Approach for Federated IoT-Mobile Cloud Matching Theory" has been accepted to the IEEE 5th World Forum on Internet of Things in Limerick, Ireland.

Ms. Tavakoli defended her master thesis on 21 September 2015. Her thesis is titled: "A Game Theoretical Model for Switching Dormant to Proliferative Phenotypes in Cancer Tumors". GTMD members congratulate Ms. Tavkoli for her graduation.
